The Gallery of Fluid Motion consists of posters and videos submitted by attendees illustrating the science — and very often also the beauty — of fluid motion. Both computational and experimental entries are encouraged. Poster and video entries must not duplicate one another.
The GFM Submission deadline was Sept. 17, 2017.
Submitted GFM Posters: Bring to meeting. After the meeting you will be welcome to submit posters to the GFM website where they will be available online and receive a permanently citable DOI.
A panel will select outstanding entries based on artistic value, scientific content, and originality. The winning entries will be published as a special supplement to Physical Review Fluids. The top three winners in each category will be presented the Milton Van Dyke Award – consisting of a small monetary prize; a copy of the Album of Fluid Motion; and an award certificate.
The contributions will be displayed in the Mile High Ballroom of the Denver Convention Center. The award-winning entries will be announced on Monday, 20 November during the refreshment break.
